Consultations

Ophthalmological consultations are essential for diagnosing visual defects
and maintaining good eye health. Each visual defect is treated individually.

The Center is open Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Emergencies
ophthalmology

Severe pain in the eye, sudden change in vision, red eye, dark spot or haze in the visual field…

All these cases require immediate treatment by an ophthalmologist.

Visual assessment

The eye check-up includes an eye examination, eye pressure measurement and screening for major eye diseases.

In addition, a prescription for glasses may be issued if necessary.

Pediatric consultation

This consultation is for children aged 5 to 7.

Above this age, a visual assessment is necessary.

Glaucoma treatment

Glaucoma is a visual defect caused by high intraocular pressure, which leads to destruction of the nerve fibers of the optic nerve.

There is no cure for glaucoma.
However, certain treatments can stop the disease.

Cataract surgery

The aim of cataract surgery is to replace the cloudy crystalline lens with an artificial lens, also known as a toric implant.

Laser operations

Quick and painless, laser surgery is designed to correct visual defects such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism and presbyopia.

All our laser operations are performed at our partner clinic, Clinique Vision Future Suisse in Nyon.

Eye background

This examination is designed to detect any pathologies of the retina or other health problems such as diabetes or hypertension.

Orthoptics

Working closely with your ophthalmologist, our orthoptist will help you re-educate, rehabilitate and explore your visual function.

Treatment of
AMD

Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is a disease that affects the central part of the retina, known as the macula.
To date, there is only one treatment, which consists of injecting anti-VEGF to limit or destroy the formation of new blood vessels deep inside the retina.
