Presbyopia surgery

In addition to wearing progressive glasses, presbyopia can be corrected by refractive surgery.
The operation consists in modifying the shape of the cornea to make it multifocal and allow the object to re-form on the retina (sharp point).

The operation is performed under local anaesthetic and lasts just a few minutes.
The patient returns home the same day and can resume his or her activities the following day.

  • Fast (a few minutes), painless operation (local anaesthetic)
